help! website button > pop-up window
on Oct 5, 2008 at 2:04:59 pm

Ive been trying to get pop-up windows to work, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
strangely it works about %10 of the time, so I repeat what I've done for that button, and apply it to other buttons, but then it doesn't work.
This is what I have so far. In my .fla I have a few buttons with this actionscript;

on (release) {
getURL("JavaScript:popupone();");
}

(the next button has 'popuptwo,' and so on.)

then I publish, open up the .html with a text editor and paste the following into the head;

SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
function popupone() {
window.open('popupone.html','','toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,width=530,height=550,left=0,top=0');
}
function popuptwo() {
window.open('popuptwo.html','','toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,width=330,height=350,left=0,top=0');
}
/script>

then after I save, upload and test it out, the buttons don't work, can someone please help!?
Im using flash mx 2004

heres a tip for you all: never name your javascript functions with a number in them.
