...and that has worked well. It's typically AE interface and I'm doing some visual effect so i can't drop the data rate too low before it's difficult to see the effect...
Anyway...i have now done some captures with SnapzPro on the Mac...same specs on all of it, but I captured QT PNG...edited in PPro (Mac)...exported to Flash (Mac) and DUPLICATED all my export settings...and the interface text is falling apart in the FLV...as if it was interlaced and we're only seeing one field. I tested it for playback on the Mac and PC...two different FLV players.
I'm at a loss here. Any ideas why I might be seeing this problem, or what I might try to fix it? I've got a lot of time invested in very little progress at the moment...
Heh, I was going to suggest On2 Flix, but glad that worked too :)
Different encoders usually have different results, however, it -is- weird that there is a difference between two products that, to my knowledge use the same exact packages.
In any case, glad you got it fixed.
General notice: from now on, I would like to ask everyone to put [AS2] or [AS3] (corresponding to the version of actionscript you are using on your project) in front of their post titles when the question is actionscript related! Please help us help you faster. Thank you.
Try exporting to MOV, then creating an FLV from it. I ran into interlace problems, fooled around until a got an MOV looking right, then used Riva to create the FLV. I know it's not optimal to transcode an extra time, but if it gets you what you need...
