Resize a swf animation
on Jul 16, 2008 at 1:40:27 pm

Hi guys, I'm pretty new about flash, so this is maybe a simply problem, anyway: I created an 640x480 swf animation outside flash, using a 3d software; now, I need to resize the animation down, I imported the animation into the stage and I got 210 keyframe on the timeline, one for each frame of my animation; at this point I know I can select each keyframe and resize the frame in the properties tab, but this is very time consuming if I have to resize every frame; my question is: exist a way to resize every frame with one command? I tried to select all frames, but it resizes only the last one I selected.

thanks for any answears

you can make an empty movieclip and then import your animation inside that movieclip. Then you can resize the container movieclip and it will resize all the frames.

Hi, thanks for your post...I tried to follow your instructions: I created an empty movie clip, I imported the animation into che stage, I selected the animation in the stage with a click and risezed it in the properties tab, but it still resize just one frame...probably I'm doing something wrong, but I don't understand where....

bye and thanks
