Issues with working on desktop, but not working when deployed to a server
on Jun 11, 2008 at 2:32:23 pm

I have a flash swf that loads a flv, with cue points embedded through an xml file and the flash encoder. The swf calls the flv, reads the cue points which call for the loading of a slide, and place the slide in an instance. It all works perfect on the desktop, but it does not work when uploaded to a server. It plays the flv fine, it however does not load the cue point.

My co worker added an action script cue point, and that loaded perfectly online, and off . But its easier for us to use an xml file, as opposed to adding each one individually inside of flash.

Here is the actionscript code for the fla:

//load logo
loadMovie("images/logo.gif", MC_Logo);
//load side panel
loadMovie("images/side.gif", MC_side);

//object listener
var objListener:Object = new Object();
objListener.cuePoint = function(eventObject:Object):Void {

//trace(eventObject.info.parameters.slide);

loadMovie(eventObject.info.parameters.slide, MC_Slide);

}

player.addEventListener("cuePoint", objListener);

Any help or guidance is appreciated.
