PIP switch with 2 flv videos running in one swf
on Apr 14, 2008 at 3:24:51 pm

Need to have a running film that can run main video angle and when needed enable a second filmed view camera angle that is synched with the first main video sized in a smaller window.
Want to create swf that has normal vid controls PLUS a button/control (Picture in Picture) that will switch off or on a second flv video (smaller sized) that is simultaneous playing and synched with the main video. The main video controls need to control the playback of both videos (ie pause control pauses both) whether or not the second smaller video is enabled (visible).
Do I lay buttons on top of each other to control both flvs simultaneously or can I add script that allows one control (play button) to affect both flvs simultaneously?
Is there a script that allows a button to control the opacity of the second video (ie 100% v 0%) to create the PIP or similar solution?
New to Flash scripting. Also, is it possible to do this with older versions (flash 8)?
Thanks for any assistance.
