I am a veteran in video and film production but I am fairly new to Flash.
What I have to ask is probably no biggie to anyone of the Flash-crusaiders here.
I am trying to put together a video gallery for my website.
It is a movie screen in the middle and a bunch of thumbnails under it. If you click on a thumbnail the corresponding video will start to play in the movie screen area.
No scrubber bar, no fancy-schmancy rewind buttons - just the vids.
I have 11 clips I wanna show already converted into flv files and uploaded on to a web server.
I also decided I will be using my version of Lee Brimelow's Scrolling Thumbnail Panel for the thumbnails.
I have it ready to go - it scrolls and chirps fine.
I thought I knew how to create buttons in Flash but it seems like I can't seem to find a way to assign a thumbnail to a video.
Also I want the video that's playing to stop and the new video to start to play everytime a corresponding thumbnail is clicked.
The idea seems kinda straight forward and simple - not so much the way I should do it.
I am using Flash CS3 Professional,
I also understand that I will need 11 net sreams.
Maybe it's nothing big to you - to me it's a giant hump and I need to get it done.
