Animating Scale Problem
on Nov 26, 2007 at 9:45:16 pm

Hi, I am currently working on a site and I have a basic rectangle that I want to animate from 0%-100% scale. When I attempt to do this with shape tweening, it will not allow me to get 0% on all sides. I have tried it with constrain on and with it off, and even tried inputting the numbers in manually, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

That is because you the object would simply vanish from the stage when you do that. If scaling from 1% (since you're tweening, it really shouldn't be noticeable to the naked eye) to 100% isn't good enough, you might try scaling using the Tween class in Actionscript. I believe this will let you scale from 0-100%.

Kind regards,
