Preloading FLV...NOT a progress check...
on Sep 19, 2007 at 1:32:28 pm

I wouldn't think it's really possible if one has a 'streaming' video, but is it?

I have a movie with multiple movies loading. After a few seconds, a paper airplane comes flying in. Then, there are other videos that play at different times.

I'd like to go ahead and preload one or two of those flv's and attach from the library or something, but I haven't been able to work that out.

Note: I'm not talking about tracking the download process, which isn't 'preloading' at all... I'm talking about fully having an flv file resident in memory and waiting to come out at the call of a function.

Any ideas or suggestions?
