Flash Calendar

anyone have some insight as to how I can customize the dateChooser component to reflect a firefighter shift calendar? essentially I would like each different shift day (A,B,C) to be colored differently, and repeat for the duration of the calendar.

Your help is sincerely appreciated!

What you could do is to create a separate area for info/notes and link the data from the DateChooser to new dynamic text boxes.

So, you could set up an array of the days, getDay(); and then depending on what day it is, set the color of a square box graphic or any other movie clip to a certain color. Depending on the day, the color would change.

There's a project like this in the Training from the Source for FlashMX 2004. They have an interface with a DateChooser as a small calendar in the upper right and then dynamic text boxes to the left where "Monday, July 14th, 2007" is shown.

Other than something like that, I'm not sure.
