.swf problem!! please help
on May 5, 2007 at 9:12:31 pm

I made an animation in After Effects, exported as Quicktime Movie (27mb) and imported into flash as a movie clip.

For some reason or another, when I export from flash as a .swf, the animation becomes very grainy and distorted. However, the orinigal QT file does not have this weird distortion.

You can view the final .swf file here: http://reelizemedia.com/TolaSplash.swf

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When you import 27MB, the images are compressed by Flash to be a more web-friendly size. You can maybe change your Publish Settings to turn off JPG compression, or watch if there are any compression on the import.

I looked at your animation, and I think your best results would be to do the animation within Flash if that is the end product you want it to be on anyway. Your filesize will be kept small too.
