FLV seek error
on Apr 23, 2007 at 5:23:27 pm

I have an flvplayback component that i am using seek commands for.
I have an array that holds a list of timecodes (in whole seconds). So to seek i would type[3]) This seeks to the 4th element in the array, which happens to be 50 seconds. Except the FLV doesnt jump to 50 seconds like it should, it jumps to 500 seconds instead. If I were to simply type that would work fine, it seems to be when I call the array it multiplies my seek point by 10. Anyone else ever have this issue? I thought it might be that my FLV file is really long, but seeking without the array works fine, so the duration of my FLV file shouldnt matter. What else could it be?? I can post my files/code if needed. Thanks!!

Hi blkhwks19

I don't know if this will work but the actionscript might not be recognising the value in the array as a number.

try the following:

var cueValue:Number = parseInt(myArray[3]);;

Give it a try, it might work
