Interested in creating an iTunes-like visualizer to play with audio clips. I'm sure there's a good
tut or thread on this somewhere, but any advice to an MX 04 user just piecing this together

Prior to the beta version of Flash 9, Flash was unable to do live spectrum analysis of audio files. It is possible to to it in MX2004 (not sure about just MX) using keyframe data exported from After Effects, but other than those, I don't know of any true visualization done in Flash. I have seen several that were done that were nothing more than randomly animated bars, and if it's kept simple enough, it is actually pasable to most users as being generated live.
