I have NEVER used Flash 8, nor any Flash for that matter. I need to start learning Flash 8 soon! What is the best route to go for someone as green as I lol?!?!
What is a good book to start with? A good tutorial I can buy? Just something to get me on the right track! I have done some searching but I would hate to order something and it not be the best to start out with.
Help!

There are tutorials and sample files built right into Flash in the Help files. They are an excellent place to start.
You can also check out the tutorial sites like
