Drop Down Menus

On some (not all) PC's, the drop down menu will not show until one clicks on the Flash Box. Why is this and how can it be fixed?

yeah that is some new security thing that IE does. I can't exactly remember the way around it but I did read a solution at http://www.flashkit.com - so hunt around there and you should find the answer. Maybe search for "click to activate" or something like that.

There is a more complex solution, but here is a simple one:

objects = document.getElementsByTagName("object");
for (var i = 0; i < objects.length; i++)
{
objects[i].outerHTML = objects[i].outerHTML;
}

Just put this in an .js file and put a link to it right after every flash

adobe also has a fix on their site, search around the site for the active content update fix.
