Where is the Action Script for Button URL Destination?
on Aug 18, 2006 at 7:32:47 pm

I've got 10 buttons animating properly as I inquired about previously. I'm having trouble finding where to change each button's destination url. I've looked over the whole timeline and I could only find this:

_root["item"+_root.button].gotoAndPlay("s1");
_root.link=_root.button;

Is there another place I should be looking? If this is the correct place, what do I change in this script to make a button link to index2 rather than index1?

Thanks in advance,
Eric

The code to go to a url is

getUrl("http......")

so, I'd guess your code would look like this:

_root["item"+_root.button].getUrl("http:// etc");
_root.link=_root.button;

But this might not be right, as there's an implication in that code that all the buttons would then point to the same url.
