I've never used Flash before and I've been asked to create an interactive fish tank. The fish all swim across the screen and if you click on a fish a text bubble pops up and tells you about that fish while he continues swimming. It needs to be set up so you can click on other fish immediately thereafter and text bubbles will pop up for them too. So it's possible to have several text bubbles on the screen at once. After a while each text bubble disappears. The whole interactive just continues playing this way forever.
The imagery for each fish will be a looping sequence of images rendered in Maya.
So I need to take several of these looping sequences of images (one sequence for each fish) and render each as a button that moves across the screen.
I've looked on the web for tutorials that might help but none of them seem to address this.
Basically I guess I need several buttons that move across the screen, each button having the apperance of the appropriate looping image sequence.
Could someone please point me in the right direction as to how to achieve this?
Thanks, I'd appreciate any advice. I've never touched Flash before.
