Flash Pro 8 and H.264

I've tried to find an answer online, but so far no luck. Thought I'd try the fine folks here. So here's my problem:

I cannot export a H.264 QT video of my projects in Flash Pro 8. I get the following error "Could not complete operation because of an unknown error."

Any ideas why? Is H.264 not supported in Flash 8? Is there a workaround for still using H.264?

Just so we are clear, I use the follwing path: File > Export > Export video, then QT Video from the Format dropdown. Then H.264 as the compressor.

Thanks for any help!

I'm not that familiar with exporting Quicktime or the H.264 codec, but I do know that Flash cannot export anything higher than Quicktime version 5, so if H.264 was implemented recently in a newer version of QT, that could be your problem.

I'm filling a need. Without me there would be no bad examples.
