Good to be here!
Always enjoy reading the feedback and issues relating to various problems here!
My problem today is that I have some FLV files(videos) that play perfectly ok with the FLV Player but I'm not very successful in converting some of those FLV files to AVI or MPEG. I get the audio ok but always end up with a black screen. After comparing some of the FLV files that have converted successfully with the ones that don't I've discovered that some data were missing for them and added the data via the 'FLV MetaData Injector'. However, now when trying to convert them I get an error message that says 'Error when converting FLV to SWF'.(Even though I selected the output file to be AVI or MPEG.)
Any feedback or assistance would greatly be appreciated!
I have compared the 'Media Properties' of my FLV files that have successfully been converted to a PMEG or AVI format with my FLV files that have failed to convert and noticed that all the successfully converted FLV files have a 'Video codec ID 2' where the failed FLV files have a 'Video codec ID 4'. If this is the reason for them to fail to convert would there be any encoder software available to change the FLV 'Media Properties'?
