F8 Video problem
on Mar 10, 2006 at 2:23:43 pm

Hi All, I have a page that links to 8 Flash video testimonials. All vids have been created using the F8 video component and all work OK on my local machine.

They all work locally, but when put online I have all but one working. I can see them all work in Firefox and IE6 when I visit the URL and the client can see vids 2-8 ok but not the first. When I log into a remote machine I get the same problem.

I cannot work why this one vid is not playing, I have recreated it from scratch and again it works OK locally, I really desperate for some help, URLs are below.

Thanks in advance,

Main URL is:

The video not working is Joe Kao:

I guess you figured this out as it worked for me. Was it the publish feature about allowing network or local access?

hmm, not sure about that. i had real problems getting it to work. i used the video component and the component inspector to make each vid. in the end the path would never be right for the .flv

so i did end up using the publish feature to get my movie, previously i just used test movie and used the .swf from that.

i didn't actually see that setting! will have to take a closer look.
