Where did you get the sample you are using? It would help us know what's going on if you gave us a link to look at your FLA or if you could paste your code into your post.

Your issue is exactly the opposite of what most people want to do based on Lee's Video Playlist tutorial. Have you checked that out?

http://www.gotoandlearn.com

Under "Select a Tutorial" look for and click "XML Video Playlist"

Depending on where you got your video player (or if you coded your own based on Lee's tutorials) this may or may not make sense.

Hi and thank you for quick response.
I download a package xml_video_playlist.zip from gotoandlearn.com

What I want to do is a list of short movies to watch from website. I saw Lee tutorial, so I decide to use it. I understand that this is only a general directions what to do.
So, problem number one:
script starting to play first movie from the list as soon as you go there, which is OK because I can put some ad, but after this first movie is end automaticlly loading second movie, and another and another.
problem number two:
I'am totaly newbie in Action Script ;))

What I want is: list with movies
movie1
movie2
movie3

but I don't want to that script loading next movie before user click in title.

Sorry for my english but I'am trying to explain as much as I can

Thank you

Well, if you're using Lee's XML player, there are 2 lines there that say:

ns.play(videoList.getItemAt(0).data);
videoList.selectedItem = 0;

It should be around line 136 of the actionscript, after the "for" loop (for i=0,i
If you delete these 2 lines (or better yet, just comment them out by putting "//" at the beginning of both lines) the player will no longer automatically play the first video once the XML is loaded and will only play a video when the user selects one from the list.

to stop the videos from looping remove (or comment out) the following part of the ns.onStatus function ( should be around line 17-19)

if(info.code == "NetStream.Play.Stop") {
ns.seek(0);
}

I don't understand what you're saying the problem is with the buffer message.

Thank you for stop solution ;)

If you aren't click to play movie, you can see "buffering video" screen. Should I make any screenshot to put in first frame ?

Hmmm, I might be off on this one cause I don't have time to test it out, but I think in order for you to not see the buffer message when the videos are not playing you will need to change where the ns.onStatus function gets called, and delete it when a video is completed. Take the entire block of code (should be lines 10-20):

ns.onStatus = function(info) {
if(info.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Full") {
bufferClip._visible = false;
}
if(info.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Empty") {
bufferClip._visible = true;
}
if(info.code == "NetStream.Play.Stop") {
ns.seek(0);
}
}

and put it inside the vidList.change function. Also, remember that you commented out the 3rd if statement. We're going to keep it in, but modify it to delete the ns.onStatus function when the video stops. So now the vidList.change function (line 142 in the original code, it will have moved up about 10 lines if you cut out the ns.onStatus function) should look like this:

vidList.change = function() {
ns.onStatus = function(info) {
if(info.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Full") {
bufferClip._visible = false;
}
if(info.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Empty") {
bufferClip._visible = true;
}
if(info.code == "NetStream.Play.Stop") {
delete ns.onStatus;
}
}
ns.play(videoList.getItemAt(videoList.selectedIndex).data);
}

Did you remove the first ns.onStatus code block (lines 10-20)?
