Hoping you can help or at least confirm my suspicions.
The school I work at is launching a podcasting service, and we want a page on our intranet where students can download the .mp3 and .m4v files.
To make this look pretty, I thought I'd build it in Flash. But of course, before I ever start, I have to overcome the browser issue of media files automatically playing.
With HTML, users can right-click and choose "Save Target As...", but you can't do that in Flash. Is this doomed from the start, or is there a way I can link to a media file and have the browser take it as a "Save Target As..." option?
And on a slightly similar note, does anyone know of any good software we could use so that students iPod could automatically download new tutorials in a fashion similar to iTunes?
