Flash Files to FILM
on Jan 24, 2006 at 4:22:42 am

My movie will be finished on Film. I'm creating animation in flash and bringing it into Final Cut Pro to add Live action backgrounds. Is there a better way to work so i don't have to raterize my swf files? I've tried to make quicktimes REALLY high res to avoid artifacting around the edges but i'm worried that the edges will still look rough when the film is projected. I don't think i can take an SWF to film from Flash- plus editing and transitions will look better from FCP. any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

My suggestion would be to rasterize (because you can't get around this) at the same resolution as your video behind the graphics. And while the edges may still be rough around the edges, the roughness won't be any more than the video behind the key.
