As I understand it, Flash has some built in functionality to manage preloading / buffering with progressive video. Or does Flash just automatically start playing any video even if it's going to choke?

If my site ends up having 5 - 20 megabyte FLV video to be downloaded progressively (no medis server) is it recommended to have them all preload or download before the page becomes available? This page is for corporate usage, so the time spent waiting for download wouldn't be a problem. Anyone tried something similar?
