How do I get files out of the library?
on Dec 18, 2005 at 2:28:09 am

I'm trying to get some bitmaps out of a library.
I have the the .FLA but need the source images.

I don't see a way to do this?

For bitmap images, you will want to right-click on the symbol in the library and choose "Edit With"...

From their just choose Photoshop or another graphics program and it will open it there for you to save.

Does FLV have to be exported as a swf?
And what about vector? I can cut and paste into Photoshop, but not Illustrator.

If you have an imported FLV file you can right-click and click on "Properties". From there you will see an export button to export the FLV. For vecotr shapes you can choose File > Export Movie and then choose Illustrator Sequence. This will create an .ai file with your vector shapes.
