I am looking to find techniques in C4d similar to the shorts clips I've posted here , of swirling abstract painting techniques.
I've looked around for tutorials and instructions for this kind of motion of colour and shape in c4d but found nothing
If anyone has any pointers or advice it would be much appreciated , I'm a video editor but recently started doing fine art at college so I looking for anything that allows me to create moving paint effects in c4d
I have been assured all these clips have been created in c4d , thanks for looking !
C4D can certainly be used to make abstract images of morphing shapes and animating textures, but its forte is 3D design and animation, so I would suggest that you consider other tools to create work similar to those examples. Programs like Studio Artist are specifically designed for paint effects, both still and animating, and will be much easier to use to create work of that nature.
While I am skeptical, I would never assert that those examples could NOT be done with C4D, so I would suggest talking with whoever assured you that they were so that you can contact the artists and learn their techniques.
