Someone recently warned me against posting videos on Vimeo that I've produced and/or edited if I haven't licensed the images. The images in questions were licensed by the client (though not for web use), and I'm clearly posting the video as a sample of my work. The video is not available for download, and is only visible on Vimeo. It seems to me like this restriction would prohibit a lot of editors/DPs/animators from showcasing their work, unless they license the images themselves. I guess the short question is; am I doing something wrong here?
