Honest Comments & Critique wanted

Hey guys, I'm Ryan (17 and in High-school). I have a passion for design, and as I am by no means professional, I was hoping to get some honest critique and feedback on my work:) I've stared off with Graphic Design, but I've recently delved into 3D Art and Photography.

Would be nice if some of you guys could help me out. I've set up a simple site here with my work on it:) I'm not a web guy so my site-creation skills are...absent, to say the least.

Honestly?

Honestly, really?

Ok.

Friggin' Awesome.

You are officially "one of us."

Truly, very nice design....17, 'eh? Geez. I'm old.

Hey Ryan, fantastic work nothing to complain about so this is more about editing your portfolio- consider whether or not to feature (or at least keep off the front page) work where the design isn't totally yours: Wall*e, Transformers, even some of the recognizable logos.

I recognize them faster and associate with them quickly - they have more weight. And although they're great exercises in modeling, texturing, etc, as a show piece, you'll never have the the best wall*e I've ever seen - Pixar will. But you might have the best anti-gun violence 3D render or something else that sticks in my head.

Because I like it so much, I'd love to see the "are you happy now" piece with improved with reflections in the blood, maybe more uneven shape to the blood, consistent shadows and reflections for the bullets...

Cheers,

KC

/KC: Hey thanks a lot for your feedback! You're very right about the Wall-e / Transformer thing, and I'll find some time this weekend to replace them with something more original! :) I'm glad you like my work, I was afraid it wouldn't stand up to standard. Also, I will look into improving that piece when school allows me more time as it WAS slightly rushed and quite a waste of a concept execution-wise:)

Thanks again!
