on Aug 3, 2007 at 3:17:45 pm

Hi everyone,
I want to create a demoreel on DVD to send to my potential employer.
What size should it be created / rendered in to be seen well on a TV?
What is the best practice?

Thanks!!!

If you're going to be burning this to a DVD it has to be 720X486. That is the standard format for television/DVD's. Unless your employer has a High Definition TV and High Definition DVD player - but that is a different ball game. Chances are they don't, so stick with standard defiition resolution: 720X486.

Actually DVD is 720 x 480, Broadcast is 720 x 486. Just be careful you will lose 6 lines.
