This is 15 sec teaser for the movie Italian Job.
After this one there will be another teaser introducing actors,
and after teasers, in two weeks trailer goes on air.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on this first teaser.
I am a little confused. Is this just some spec work to make a trailer for the "Italian Job," the one that's been remade in the last few years or so? Is this an actual indie feature you are editing?
But as a piece of critique, the fact that I still don't have the answer, and have seen the trailer would constitue a problem. The pacing of the shots is nice, some cool music, but all I know is that there is some sort of heist going down in italy (and am still a little unsure of that).
I realize it's a teaser, but I watched it a few times and left it with not much more than shots of maps (nice color treatment though).
Also, I had no loading icon and was not sure if the page was broken or not. I only ended up seeing it because the page was still open and the movie started on its own. Just a heads up.
It's a teaser for the Italian job movie, remake from 2003.
We couldn't use the original movie footage (I think using
original footage in a teaser isn't even allowed, is it?)
so we shoot it ourselves.
By watching it people should get the idea that there's some
big plan for some kind of job. Music and editing should
also give information that it's an action movie.
I didn't translate to you - in the last 4 seconds of the
teaser the lettering says: "Italian Job", "Soon".
Next week next teaser goes on air, in which main actors will be
introduced, and a week after trailer edited from the original footage.
But if you didn't get the message maybe the concept wasn't quite right?
About loading icon.
I see quicktime icon, but I'm not sure how to export movie which
would play at the same time it's downloading. But I'll figure it out
for my next post.
A tad confused as to what this was. I'm assuming you're still adding to it. As a base for something else it's good. The begining doesn't move along with the music. too slow. But if you're bringing in other text that DOES match the music, then your ok. I do like the color treatment too.
