OK, here is a new site to display my work as well as friends work. The goal originall was to create a space where designers could post work and that employers and agencies could go to find talent and hire. I soon realized that I dont have the knowledge needed to create a site like that. So if anyone is interested in the idea and wants to help on the project, let me know...

Looks good . . . I only have 2 comments, and one might be contentious.

The first comment is that I think your opener is too long without much happening.

The second, is that I wouldn't flash the word 'rape' in the middle of your project. It might turn off some potential clients, as it only pops up for a frame or two, and it has no context to go with it.

Just my two cents. Otherwise it looks real good!

You have some sweet stuff going on there. I'm curious about how the "Leslie Sansone" graphic was done, the one with the white floor with the video clips on the cards. How did you (or whoever did it) get the reflections to fade out at the bottom? Was this done in a 3D app or a compositor like AE or Combustion? Since I can see through the reflections I'm guessing they aren't sitting on a 3d floor :D

It was done in AE... Just duplicated the layer and flipped it and repositioned it below the original. Then I duplicated that one and applied ramp to it. Then I used that layer as a track matte for the reflection. Pretty simple....

It's a pretty cool trick/effect. That little bit inspired me in the look of part of a recent project but I used Lightwave for the 3D stuff.

good luck
