hi,

I quickly recut my reel to add some newer stuff, but i'm not crazy about it. any and all feedback would be greatly apretiated, perhaps re-order shots? I've been doing both editing and graphics work- most recently I've been editing a documentary/news style show, i dont see how i would cut that in to this reel..or is it enough to have something like that on my resume?

thanks for taking the time.

tristan.

Hi Tristan,
If your reel is for potential clients then perhaps some before and after (if possible). Not everyone will know how much work goes into making great images, you may benefit more by showing them. I would keep the news style/doc work separate myself, you can offer several styles of your work to clients on a website or DVD.

Just my 2 Canadian cents,
Nice work, I enjoyed it,

Jeez, man...

If that's all you have to offer on this thread - that's pretty weak.

jim-
apparently it wasn't enuff said becuase you posted it twice

christian-
i found your post quite ironic...do you honestly think you're offering alot with "jeez, man"

tristan-
decent reel...liked the track...ladytron?..i would watch the timing and the shine...actually i would diss the shine..i think i counted it 4 times in your reel 3 of which had the original color presets...the compression is pretty good except for the one time it breaks up right before the smoke box...and i wasnt really that much of a fan of the message at the end of the reel..doesnt add or take away from the reel...i just thought it was a little on the corny side...

hey but thats my two american cents
which i might add is more than two canadian cents
