File this under, "Really!? Why won't Motion let me do this?"

I was hoping to use the Replicator with multiple sources that are randomly distributed in a tile arrangement. It seems not possible. Just in case I'm missing something obvious (or not), I'm posting here. I was hoping by adding multiple cells under the replicator it would distribute them in the grid. However, it only places the one at the top on top of the others. See image. Wouldn't it be awesome to use Replicator as a way of doing video walls?

Did you mean this? If so, it's very easy to do.

I think I got it now. Color Mode "Pick from Color Range", then adjust opacity of gradient with a hard change from 0 to 100 percent.

I thought you were wanting random cell content and not just variable colours.

Anyway, here's what I did to randomise the cells.

I was. But a came up with a super hacky way of doing it using opacity of the gradient and altering random seeding. It took a lot of messing around to get it to work that way though.

I have to look at yours more in depth. It looks like you are using individual frames to separate the graphics. I don't know if it works with Drop Zones since they have to span the length of the Composition where they are used. Here's what I ended up with:
