the more I work with Motion 5, the more strange behaviors seem to unravel, but I
I am making a title preset in motion 5 for FCPX. The motion is very simple, editable text layer in a group and an animation with 2 keyframes for that group on X axis. The animation is slow and smooth.
The preset timeline is 40 seconds, I want to make sur it can cover any situation encountered.
Here is the strange behavior:
If I take the preset in FCPX, put it in the timeline en shorten it, it speeds up the animation, because instead of just shortening the clip, it actually gets both my keyframes closer to each other. What is that about?
I have a work around, using compound clip and changing the lenght of the compound, but isn't there a way to actually tell Motion 5 to not behave this way? I'd like to understand the real way of doing it right instead of walking around the issue.
