replicator increase radius sequentially for each element
on Jan 24, 2013 at 9:20:56 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to animate a replicated single line (arranged on a circle outline and aligned to the center) so it increase his distance from the center but sequentially.
Like in this video: http://www.buck.tv/work/pledge-to-see-this-film/ (the very first three seconds, the lines which grows and flies away)
Thanks a lot

Create a Line.

Add a Replicator for the line (hit L).

Set the Replicator Shape to Circle and the Arrangement to Outline. Under Cell Controls, check the Align Angle checkbox.

You should now have a radiating set of lines - set the Points to determine the number of repeating lines and the Radius to determine how big the circle will be.

Add a Sequence Replicator Behavior. Add a Scale parameter. Set the Scale value to zero and select From in the Sequencing menu.

Adjust the duration of the behavior to determine the duration of the animation.

That should give you the effect you are looking for.

Hope that helps to get you started.
