HI
Im planning on getting a mac book pro
core 2 duo or i5
with 4 gigs of ram
an a NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 512MB

Im starting out with the intention of learning Motion and AEcs5.
Been wanting get into post full time and feel a the lap top would enable me to edit on site. Also don't have enough money to get a mac pro

any feedback would help.

Feedback like well it work- sure. As long as it's a MacBook Pro with a recent graphics card and preferably at least 15".

Just to be clear, you don't have to check the age of the graphics card; as long as it's a MacBook Pro rather than a MacBook, then Motion will work. I am using Motion 4 on a first-gen MBP from 2006 with the stock graphics card.
