50 fps project
on Jun 8, 2010 at 1:22:16 pm

Why I am not able to create 50 fps project?

I was trying to use one of the 50fps presets but it just jumps to custom. When in custom I do not have 50 fps option at all.

I did try to import 50 fps footage and project still does not give 50 fps option in the settings or I did try to create new project and set it up... no way!

Please if anyone has some clue to what is going on?

Just create a new custom project (don't start with a preset) and select the frame rate you want.

Thank you, Mark, for reply!

It did not help (as I wrote in my OP). There is no option for 50 fps at all, no po-up/pull-down menu for frame rate option.

check the video below:

That's because you are editing the project properties of an existing project. You create a NEW custom project, you can choose any frame rate you want.

You have bypassed the new project dialog - you must have selected the checkmark to turn it off - turn it back on in preferences so that when you create a new project, you are prompted for a preset - choose Custom at the bottom of the list and choose your frame rate etc.

Mark,

Yes, it was the problem. In my preferences in presets section I had checked option to use default preset for new projects. I unchecked it and now I have beautiful new project setup dialog box.

Thank you!
