Motion 3 & Match Move
on Sep 20, 2008 at 11:26:13 am

HI all.
I have 2 clips of 176 frames each.
I add the Motion Tracking, Match Move behavior to my top clip to follow a certain point of the bottom clip. The easiest match move scenario.
My problem is that when i press the ANALYZE button, it only calculates the 76 frames of the 176.

Does anyone has any ideas?

Thanx in advance.

Make sure you're picking a tracking point that exists throughout every frame of the shot.

not only it exists through out the whole shot, but its still too.
Its NOT moving at all. It only scrolls to the left.

Wait the shot doesn't move at all? Have you tried a simple manual track with automatic keyframes? If the motion is really simple this is often easier than forcing a motion track?

Tracking is Analyzed at where the play head is placed (either forward or reverse, depending on the revers check box). If it analyzed 76 frames then your playhead was on frame 100. Hope this helps others who find this thread.
