Any good books or training DVD's???
on Sep 14, 2008 at 3:19:16 am

Just sucked it up and upgraded to the latest and newest version and am floundering a bit with Motion. I can get some of the basics, but I'm sure there is faster ways of doing it (whatever that may be), and I know that I'm missing a lot, so I'd love to know all. Been using FCP for years, understand basics of 3D but probably not all. Anything good out there to learn? Or more important, what tutorials/books/DVDs were NOT WORTH IT?

When you've got family, everything else is extra.

lynda.com has some great tutorials.
They have some free stuff as a teaser.

I agree - lynda.com rules! $25 a month is a great investment - especially considering the price of the upgrade - get your money's worth!

My 3 favourite training resources for Motion 3 are
Mark Spencers Ripple training DVDs and the Peachpit
Motion 3 apple certified book. Theres a lot to learn in Motion 3
and I think its like the fast/good/cheap triangle - you know
pick any 2....

Best Regards
