We are making a showreel and our company has decided to take inspiration from the Transformers DVD Menu screen, for those who haven't seen it:

We like the part where different videos are circling the centre object, in this case "Allspark", the transformers world.

In motion I'd like our approx 10 video's to circle our 3D logo and then in turn the camera moves into each video and more of it is shown.

I have just started this, I have the quicktimes of our chosen films ready and now face the task of creation. I am in the reading around and testing stage, I figure that I need to use the vortex simulation to make the movies spin around.

How do I get the bending effect for each of the films....

More questions to follow, will post to let everyone know how its going...

Sounds more like a job for a full 3D application like Maya, LightWave or Cinema 4D. Motion is capable of certain fairly convincing 2.5 D effects but I'd suspect that menu you are taking inspiration from was created in Maya.
