Sending FCP footage into Open Motion Project?
on Jan 18, 2008 at 7:01:49 pm

Howdy,

So, can someone please enlighten me about something I'm a bit fuzzy on? I'm cool with sending FCP footage to Motion by creating a new Motion project, but what if I want to send FCP footage into a Motion project I've already created? Like I'm making some separate video sequences that I want to send from FCP to work in a project. What's the easiest way to do that? Before I started trying to streamline my FCP to Motion workflow, I used to export each sequence as QT files, save them somewhere, then import them into Motion, which seems a bit clunky now. What's the best way to accomplish this?

I can't seem to find any specific mentions of this in the Motion manual.

Thanks!

John Couture

Nope- just import the footage as a QuickTime.
