Light shining through behind image... NEED HELP!!!
on Aug 27, 2007 at 2:36:38 pm

I have an imported jpeg that I want to create strong light shining through from behind (moving from left to right), covering the edges of the outline. I tried many things from using a light as well as using the glow effects including light rays. Nothing gives me exactly what I need. Could anyone help me out? I'm desperate.

Is this the sort of thing you're after?

No, I'm looking for something like the photo in the link below, but more intense.

When I select the "Light Rays" filter I get parts of the image (imported text jpg) coming forward with the rays.

Forgot to mention that I need the rays to covers the entire edges of the imported text jpeg. The picture I gave doesn't really do that.

Thanks Peter! I'm going to try that tonight when I get home. I just hope my old graphics card, GeForce FX 5200, can handle it.
