Camera Sweep in M3 vs AE
on Jun 13, 2007 at 5:20:01 pm

I came from an AE background and am trying to do an open/intro with a "camera sweep" in 3D space in M3. I need to have my camera fly in to the state of Florida (around the Keys) and push forward (north) on a horizontal axes as videos pop up of various cities. My problem....I can't get M3 to move my camera. I can get it to move one direction but not sweep through it, if that makes andy sense. Please help me! Aaron

PS. Just got my Creative Cow shirt in the mail...thanks!

Have you tried keyframing your camera move? Behaviors are cool but not for every application.

I guess that's what I'm gonna have to do. I just didn't know if there was something like orient-to-path or orient to spline in M3. A

Heya,

In the Basic Motion category, there's a Snap Alignment to Motion behavior that may do the trick.

Also a Sweep camera with a Point At behavior does a lot of cool stuff. There's very little in Motion you *have* to keyframe.
