what's the right frame rate for me?

I work in FCP at a sequence frame rate of 59.94 when using my native Varicam HD footage. Most of my work is down converted to 27.97 via my Kona 2 when I output to BetaSP. With that said, when working in Motion, do I just choose the HD preset which is 27.97, or should I customize a preset for 59.94 to match my FCP sequence? I've been using the 29.97 setting and letting FCP render it down and it seems to be ok in the sequence, but will I get better, smoother results by originating the Motion project in 59.94? Any pointers or things to watch out for when working in 720P HD is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

16-bit float space for HD work is preferred to 8-bit. You can work in 8-bit preview and then switch before rendering for output.

Greater frame rates can create smoother motion, especially with fast changes, but motion blurring might create a more desirable effect on playback.
