Within an Action comp, I'm trying to place an image inside of a semi-transparent sphere so that it will appear as if the image is inside of a bubble. The sphere's material node has transparency, and the background is visible through the sphere, but the image placed inside the sphere is not visible unless the camera penetrates the surface of the sphere.
Is it possible to place an image or object inside of semi-transparent 3D geometry and have it be visible to the camera without having the camera actually inside of the 3D geometry?
Solution from Jason Yee in the Smoke forum on The Area:
In the priority editor, try moving the image below the sphere geom. Not sure if this is what you want, but you should at least see the image inside the sphere when the material surface has transparency.
