For a couple of shots in a commercial I have to remove a large tattoo on a woman's back. I tried paint, but can't get it looking good. Can anyone please help me with a good approach to tackle these shots? I've included a still of one shot, where to lady is walking away from camera.
This is a job for a highly trained professional.
I would call Lola FX ... or do it myself, but this takes a week or so.
You need to get a prefect track in Mocha of the area.
Then you need a painted surface of the clean back, either in 3D or 2D.
Then you need to apply your basic track to that surface and afterwards morph the edges so that it really reallreally sticks.
And then you need to takes care of the seems and then the lighting change.
Yes, it's doable, but it takes a lot of time and skill.
If you got one day, turn it down.
