Having problems with folders in Media Storage of Smoke Setup
on Jun 17, 2015 at 6:43:11 am

I'm trying to run Smoke on my Mac, OSX 10.10.3 and I'm not getting past the connecting to the Stone+Wire. I think something is clogged up in my Media Storage, because when I go there, despite which ID is there, the drive displays as Partition7. I have #'d out this folder and tried to create another folder on a different drive, but when I go back into Media Storage again and select Manual Edit, that displays as Partition7 as well.

I think something is holding over from a machine upgrade I did where I swapped system drives.

I tried an Uninstall and a Reinstall. Is there a way to clear out those Media Storage options and start fresh?

You can move your Media Storage location to another drive or volume to see if that clears it up. Just follow this Knowledge Base article:

Ya that's the guide I followed. That's where I'm running into trouble, when manually editing the Media Storage folders they both show up as Partition7, which isn't right. That's an old partition number.
