problem importing pictures

I am having a problem importing photos. I have 105 photos that I Need to import, and when I drag and drop into the library, or go into mediahub, it only recognizes 3 photos. They are identically formatted, I have even batch processed them through adobe fireworks as Jpegs, and it still only recognizes 3. The file name format is just 1.jpg through 105.jpg. This has been a pretty consistent problem for me. Any thoughts?

Did you check to see if you are importing the images as a sequence?
The Smoke will default to seeing the images as a sequence instead of a bunch of individual files.

Yes, get a file renamer, make them a family with differently names members.
Also if you do numbering don't forget to add correct padding

Example Family : Image-AAA.jpg, image-AAB.jpg, Image-AAC. jpg
Like this you will get 105 separated images each 1 frame long

Example correct padding : Image001.jpg, image002.jpg, image003.jpg
Like this you will get a 105 frames long sequence

Get this : http://better-file-rename.en.softonic.com/ or for mac https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/better-rename-9/id414209656?mt=12

At this point i think you have three squences
1-9
10-99
100-105
