UI on UHD Display ?
on Oct 17, 2014 at 9:03:22 am

Hello,

we are actually planning to test Smoke on Mac 2015.
We didn't start it right now, so we don't have an Autodesk ID.
That's the reason, why we couldn't sign into the autoddesk smoke forum at area.autodesk.
(And that's the reason why I ask here for Information)

So, actually we plan the hardware for that tryout.

As far as I understood, Smoke is limited to use only one display (monitor) even if the mac desktop runs on two displays.

What, if we attach a UHD display (like a UHD-TV or so) as main display at the mac.

Can we then use the user-interface of smoke on that complete UHD-display using the whole resolution of 3840x2160 that is like 4 HD-displays ?
Or are there further limitations in smoke ?

Thanks for your answer.

Ingo
