FCPX as logging tool for Smoke?

I was reading this thread and was wondering whether this would work for Smoke:

Log in FCPX, create keyword collections, export event XML, convert the XML with xto7, load all sub clips and folders from the XML and start cutting? Has anyone tried this? Would Smoke be able to load this? A workflow involving Prelude from Adobe might also be an option.

As far as I know... Smoke only reads sequence xmls. I don't believe it will import a library xml. The conform tool in Smoke is only set up for sequences.
