Change the size of a CFX Output
on Jun 24, 2014 at 9:17:30 am

I am editing a HD video, and using SD footage in that video. I am just doing the kind of standard, blow up the clip behind itself and blur it to fill the screen. I had my original SD clip in place in the timeline, and I just created the CFX straight from that. I resized the clip, and got to the end of the line with the shot that I wanted, but when I made the CFX, it made it SD, so now I have a cropped output that is way too small. Is there a way to change the size of a CFX output once you have made it? And a second question, how do I set the size of a CFX output if I want it to be a different size than the clip that I am creating it with?

Hi Daniel,

The CFX output is always defined by the clip you enter into ConnectFX with if it is a single clip.

However if you use a multiple clips or a gap clip, the resolution of the CFX should be set by the sequence.

See if that works for you.

Grant
